Join us as we venture through the entire Bible in 2009. It will truly be an experience to remember.    

  

Summer Spirit Service

Wednesday July 1st in the Sanctuary (21200 Southfield Rd.) This is a worship celebration with scripture and song and prayer.  Many of you will be away for the 4th of July weekend. This is a moment to share with your church family.

  

Southfield Garden Walk

The Southfield Parks and Garden Club is organizing a Summer Garden Walk.  The hosts are Magnolia Neighborhood Assn. & Northland Gardens Neighborhood Assn.  Date is Sunday, July 26th, 2:00 to 5:00.  Tickets $5 - cash or check payable to SP&GC. 

Shuttle service will also be available and refreshments.  For tickets and/or additional information, you can contact Jon Adams, President of the Southfield Parks and Garden Club (248) 356-2281 or (248) 763-5229.  

  

Worship In The Park

Sunday, July 26                     11:00 a.m.

As in past years, we will move the entire Worship Service to Beech Woods Park (located at 22200 Beech Road, south of Nine Mile Road).

There will be a potluck picnic after worship and a time for games and fellowship.  Dress for a picnic, bring a dish to pass, and don’t forget your lawn chair, hat and sun screen.  

Young Adult Gathering

Our Young Adults will meet at Pastor Bill’s home, 21565 Flanders, Farmington Hills, following the worship service on Sunday, July 12th.

Housing The Homeless

August 2 – August 9

The Missions/Outreach Committee will collect funds this year, instead of food donations, to help defray the cost of Housing the Homeless at be held at First Baptist Church of Detroit August 2-9.  Remember this is a church sponsored event.  We need everyone’s help!
